Housing Infrastructure Projects Enter Auction on October 2016
The Public Work and Public Housing (PUPR) Ministry is planning to hold an auction on several infrastructure projects for 2017 on October 2016. The Ministry will also announce the information system for project procurement general plan (SIRUP) for 2017 in the near future. “Several directorate generals have announced their SIRUP in preparation for the auction,” said Basuki Hadimuljono, Public Works and Public Housing Minister as quoted by Antara news agency on Wednesday, October 12, 2016.
Previously, Secretary for the Directorate General of House Provision of the PUPR Ministry Lukmah Hakim, said that the early auction will begin on the third week of October 2016, while signing process for the 2017 auction packages is expected to take place on January 2017.
“We targeted that 53 percent of the auction packages of the Housing Provision Directorate General will have been signed on January 6, 2017,” Lukman said.
Lukman said that for 2017, the housing sector will receive a total budget of Rp 9 trillion. Lukman added that Rp 6.4 trillion will be used for contractual spending, while Rp 2.3 trillion and Rp. 170.9 billion will be used for self-management and general administration purposes, respectively.
The housing sector will auction 150 work packages worth Rp 2.5 trillion on October 2016, followed with 75 packages worth Rp 2.2 trillion on November 2016.
Meanwhile on December 2016, the Housing Provision Directorate General will auction 76 work packages worth Rp. 480.1 billion, and another 38 packages worth Rp. 749.8 billion on January 2017. Another 17 and 19 work packages worth Rp 137.5 billion and Rp. 275.9 billion will be auctioned in February 2017 and March 2017, respectively. The auctions will be carried out electronically.
