Stock Market Surges After Cabinet Reshuffle

President Joko widodo finally announced cabinet reshuffle on Wednesday (7/27/2016). The Jakarta Composite Index (IHSG) rose 60.478 points or by 1.158 percent in the first session.
IHSG briefly reached 5,301 before it declined to 5,284 at the end of the session.
Trade volume in the first session reached 3.1 billion shares worth around Rp5.2 trillion. 199 stocks increased, 96 stocks decreased, while 87 stocks unchanged.
All sectors were in the green zone in the first session. Consumer goods sector recorded the best performance with 26.09 points.
Jokowi appointed World Bank managing director Sri Mulyani as the new Minister of Finance. She is considered as reputable figure in the market.
